SUNDAYS AT CENTERPOINT

WE’RE GLAD YOU’RE HERE

If you’ve found yourself on this page, we’re so excited for you to get a glimpse of who we are at CenterPoint. Every Sunday morning, we offer an adult class on studying the Bible, a free breakfast and hot coffee, an engaging worship service and teaching experience, and a safe and exciting kids’ ministry.

  • Have you ever wondered how to study the Bible? This class, led by David Biggs, teaches us how to use Bible dictionaries, concordances, and other reference materials. This class also helps you understand the context and language of particular books and passages of the Bible. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned reader, this class will make your Bible reading stronger and deeper.

  • Families in our church take turns each week bringing donuts, muffins, fruit, or quiches for breakfast. At CenterPoint, we believe that meals shared around a table help foster community and a sense of belonging. And, you don’t have to worry about eating before you head out the door!

  • As 11 o’clock approaches, adults and kids gather together for worship. We believe that when kids see adults worship it helps shape how they worship, too!

As the adult teaching begins, the kids are dismissed to their own class for kids 4K-5th Grade.

We always have a nursery available for little ones under 4. You can sign in your baby and meet our nursery volunteers before you head into the sanctuary for worship.

You’re also welcome to keep any aged children in the adult worship service. Whether you’re a nursing mom or whether you desire for your kids to learn the adult content alongside you, we want honor your family values. Please note, though, that some content may be PG-13 because of the topics we’ll discuss.

If you have a teenager, they’ll join you in the sanctuary. You’ll notice that many of our teens serve in various roles: in the worship band, in the tech booth, or greeting. We believe our teens are not just the NextGen, but the NOWGen! We celebrate that by helping them learn to serve the local church.

  • We always provide a nursery for your little ones 0-4. You can sign in your baby and meet their teacher before you enter the sanctuary for worship.

Kids 4-5th Grade join you for the worship portion of our service in the sanctuary. When they are dismissed, they’ll hear a Bible lesson on their level, play at least one high-energy, team-building game, and memorize a passage of Scripture!

Teens 6th-12th Grade join their family in the sanctuary for the worship & teaching. We have many youth who serve on Sunday mornings and also have Youth Small Group on Wednesday evenings.
