About CenterPoint

What is CenterPoint all about?

Our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus. The Bible says to “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

Everything we do at CenterPoint revolves around helping people meet Jesus and grow in that relationship.

CenterPoint Ministries

Kids

Our kids worship alongside adults each Sunday before joining their peers for a Bible lesson. This allows older generations to model worship, but allows them to learn about Jesus in an individualized way.

Youth

Our teenagers from 6th-12th grade meet together on Wednesdays from 6-7:30. This is a place where they can share life’s highs and lows in a space with peers and leaders who will help them find and follow Jesus.

Worship & Teaching

Our Sunday worship services focus on worshiping King Jesus. The mix of contemporary worship, traditional hymns, Scripture reading, and prayers are prayerfully chosen to help us all re-center our hearts, souls, and minds on our good, good Father. Our preaching each Sunday is delivered by one of our three staff pastors. These pastors are different genders, personalities, and generations, but each share a transformative message so that everyone who hears has another opportunity to find Jesus or follow Him more closely.

Local Missions

CenterPoint proudly partners with Straight Street Ministries in Laurens, SC and Crossroads Women’s Center in Greenwood, SC. Each of these local ministries focuses on helping people find and follow Jesus through practical assistance, hands on education, and story-telling evangelism.

Global Missions

CenterPoint proudly partners with missionaries in Central Asia and Nicaragua. Our Central Asia missionaries focus on building house churches led by local leaders and multiplying believers, while our Nicaraguan missionaries focus on training local children and ministry leaders.

“I’m not a perfect person, so I wasn’t looking for a church full of perfect people. I was looking for authentic community that would point me to Jesus. That’s exactly what my girls and I have found at Centerpoint.

— Victoria Stanley, Brooklyn & Savannah

“We don’t have family in the area, so we were looking for a church that would feel like home. From kids to adults to seniors, we’ve found our family at CenterPoint Wesleyan.”

— Mary Lou Biggs
